The Assembly Rooms were at the heart of fashionable Georgian society. When completed in 1771, they were described as 'the most noble and elegant of any in the kingdom'.
By Rail

If travelling to the venue by train - the Assembly Rooms are about 15 minutes walk from Bath Spa station.

There is a taxi rank directly outside the station.

The station is on the main London to Bristol line and enjoys a fast and frequent service from those cities and points in between. There are good services from Salisbury and the south too. Trains from the Midlands, the South West and South Wales are also pretty straightforward, although these often require a change at Bristol.

By Coach

The Bus Station is just across the road from the railway station. Service details can be found here
